The one I saw it with the first time said 'Poor Girl' though during the second half we were both sitting on the edge of our seats, our hands on the seats in front of us, our heads resting on them, chin perked up in complete attention.
But for the attention deficit disorder I've, even I was pitying myself and wondering if I'm wasting precious two hours of my life trying to watch a thriller whose every twist and turn is known to me.

P.S: I can't remember the last time I had ever seen a movie twice. No. I checked. The doctor still declares me sane. Maybe the director should meet me. I'm his true audience he makes films for. Lol. I admit it's a messed up movie.
It's a fucked up movie about a fucked up couple who compliment and complete each other in the most fucked up way.
(I usually don't abuse at all. Maybe this is the first time you're seeing me use these words, because of the movie and its genius intelligence and just relating to the characters and using their language).

Villain, Heroine or just shades of Grey?
If you miss the fine lines or the quick dialogues you don't get the whole story. You hate it because, in the end, you don't know what's the truth. Both the central characters are grey. None of them is the villain or the heroine.No one is black or white. Except for the twin sister. What a warm character she plays and how beautifully! My God!
And because both of them are such liars you don't know when they are lying.
And because you see it through his eyes and then hers you don't know who to believe and to what extent.

For all those people on the internet blaming it as anti-women, being the feminist I'm, I don't see it that way at all!

If you like difficult movies and can connect flashbacks in time on and off and are intrigued by the ironies of life and relationships, of lies and quirks of the mind, how and what leads people to be totally fucked up, if you wish to redefine the word extreme in normal life, go see the movie. Yes. Please!
But if you are a HAPPY NEW YEAR kind of a movie lover who wants the brain to be left at home and goes to a movie just to relax and possibly just laugh or doze off, sorry this is gonna be a bouncer(read overhead transmission) for you and you come out and say what the hell!

If you look closely, you pity the characters for what they have become and why. It shows you the why. It does show what they have become and what they did to each other.
Each of them pretended to be someone the other wanted and loved each other and pulled it off for 3 long years.
